2024 Canadian XCM Championships
Blacksheep Mountain Bike Club in collaboration with Cycling Canada is hosting the 2024 Canadian XCM Championship in Thunder Bay from September 6-7th, 2024.
The Best of Trowbridge Forest
The Course
Racers will be treated to plenty of singletrack ranging from fast and flowy to tight and twisty technical trails. The course show riders some of everything that Trowbridge Forest has to offer from the brand-new trails completed in recent years as well as the classic old-school trails that have been ridden and raced on for the last 25 years. The course will also be broken up with sections of double track to allow for ample passing opportunities and one section of pavement near the finish line.
Racers will do 3 laps of the 30.6km lap course for a total distance of 91.8km. More information of the course can be found here: Course Map
We believe we’ve created a very fun but very challenging race course suited for Canada’s best cross-country racers.
Volunteer
The Canadian XCM Nationals is coming to Thunder Bay! Help be a part of hosting Thunder Bay’s largest cycling event by signing up to volunteer. We will be running the XCM in conjunction with our annual Shuniah Forty Miner. With the Forty Miner running in the morning and the XCM starting in the afternoon. The two events combined together will make for an action packed and exciting day. To pull everything off we will need a strong team of volunteers!
