We\u2019re hoping for a healthy representation from our friends from across Canada and United States on race day! Are you unfamiliar with the area? Don\u2019t worry, we\u2019ve got you covered! For our Canadian friends, we are located just off of the trans canada highway.\u00a0 Take the Copenhagen Road exit and we are first road on your left. \u00a0 For the riders from the USA, after exiting the Pigeon River Border Crossing, continue on Highway 61 for an hour to reach the City of Thunder Bay. When approaching Copenhagen road, take the turnoff on the right then immediately turn left; traversing the overpass. Finally, take the first road on your left and hop on your bike (we strongly recommend parking the vehicle before getting on your bike)!<\/p>\n

New to Thunder Bay? There\u2019s lots to do here other than riding (although seemingly it\u2019s all we ever do)! Check\u00a0this<\/a>\u00a0out. Take a hike up Mount Mckay or visit Kakabeka Falls (the Niagara of the North)! Sleeping Giant Provincial Park is just an hour away, and the Terry Fox Memorial Lookout is less than five minutes East\u00a0of the Shuniah Forty Miner race course!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Kinsmen Park at Trowbridge Forest is the traditional roaming grounds of the Blacksheep. It is the official trail head to our extensive trail network, and staging area for many of our events. The trails have seen more than their fair share of races for nearly twenty\u00a0years. These double track trails also provide an access point to our single track trail network, Shuniah Mines. Shuniah has changed substantially over the years, and we\u2019ve got a cracker-jack team of trail wizards that make the magic happen. Most of the trail work we do is focused in Shuniah Mines, because who doesn\u2019t love a good section of swooping, flowing singletrack or a bit of gnarly, technical singletrack?<\/p>\n

The vendor village will once again be very active for the event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
